NIGEL SUPPORTS SUCCESSION RIGHTS REFORM

Our Lord, Nigel Havers, has today announced His support for Gordon Brown’s proposal for a shake up in the rules governing succession rights to the throne.
In an exclusive interview for Nigel, the new television channel from Havers Media, Nigel praised Brown for his attempts at bringing modernisation to the table; however, Nigel also criticised Brown for not going far enough.
“It’s all very well gallivanting around preaching ‘revolutionary’ ideas, provided that they are actually revolutionary now, and not two hundred years ago,” said The Saviour on This Morning with Nigel Havers.
The NHA have of course been campaigning for several years for succession laws that are truly equal, including the right for heirs to the throne to be able to marry indiscriminately of race, religion, or gender, provided that both the heir and his or her future spouse satisfies requirements relating to intelligence, contribution to Nigel’s society, and physical attractiveness.
“Of course, a truly equal system could be open to abuse; we can’t just let any old Tom, Dick, or Prince Harry become King,” said Geoff Davies, NHA Minister for Correction and Purification. “We must employ great caution when judging applicability for the throne, and must always acknowledge that some are indeed more equal than others.”
Under the NHA’s proposed succession rules, Our Lord, Nigel Havers, is currently first in line to the throne, due in part to His charm, wit, intelligence, and contribution to society, but also because of His influential position as a role model to people of all ages.
